Kayaking tour during dark autumn evening - Atmospheric trip for everyone!

Want to experience something exciting? Would you like to know what it's like to paddle in the dark, as the EasternHelsinki archipelago quietens down for the night?

Book your place on a guided night kayaking tour and experience the autumn darkness in the most beautiful archipelago in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area. The tour is suitable for beginners as well as for more experienced kayakers. We paddle with a professional paddling guide in a calm pace - headlamps showing light to our adventure to the archipelago!

This kayak tour is focused on relaxing and enjoying the quiet nature of the nearby archipelago. The kayak route will be chosen according to the participants and the prevailing weather conditions. The pace of the paddle will be leisurely and we will also take a picnic break at one of the nearby outdoor islands.

You do not need to be an experienced/skilled paddler, but the trip is not suitable as a first paddling experience.

Professional guidance and quality equipment

During the tour we use stable and easy-to-use basic kayaks. Before setting out, we familiarize with the kayaks, paddling technique and equipment. Vuosaari Paddling Centre has all the equipment you need for paddling - Just take proper clothes according to the weather!

The route is decided based on the prevailing weather conditions and the participants. To ensure safety, the trip will always take place in as sheltered an area as possible.

If it is too windy at the Vuosaari Paddling Centre, the tour is transderred to the other side of Kallahdenniemi.

Easy paddling & picnic break on a island

The tour is 4-hour long and takes place on Friday evenings at. 20.00-00.00.

We don't paddle with mileage in mind, but head to the archipelago to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and relax. We will have a fair picnic break on one of the outdoor islands in the area (Malkasaari, Kalliosaari, Pikku Leikosaari).

If there are no active forest fire warnings in the area at the time of the tour, the picnic can also be something to grill over a campfire!

• Time: 20.00-00.00. Your guide will meet the group 15 minutes before the start of the tour.
