Rent a Sauna in Teijo National Park
The Matildanjärvi Sauna is located near the most popular hiking trails in the national park
A sauna session at Lake Matildanjärvi crowns the hiker’s experience in Teijo National Park. The sauna is located right next to the area’s largest parking lot, near the Nature Centre and the equipment rental. Several hiking trails start from the area, and it’s worth exploring the routes and nature before your sauna session. The sauna is not available for booking during the winter season 1.11.2025–31.3.2026.
Easy-to-use electric sauna
The Matildanjärvi sauna is heated easily - just push a button! The separate shower facilities have hot water. You can book the sauna for either 1.5 hours or 3 hours. Each reservation includes heating time, and you can start heating the sauna one hour before your booking begins. The log-built sauna includes a steam room, a warm changing room, and a terrace with wonderful views over Lake Matildanjärvi. Further instructions are provided immediately after making your booking.

Swimming is possible in the clear waters of Lake Matildanjärvi; the swimming area has a sandy bottom
Using the Matildanjärvi Sauna is self-service and easy
The sauna operates on a self-service basis. Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive instructions and access details that allow you to use your reservation.
The renter may start heating the sauna one hour before the booking, provided the previous slot is free. Check available times in the booking calendar.
The sauna does not need heating if it was already in use prior to your slot.
